New York Aquarium
The New York Aquarium was a pro bono project taken on by VSA Partners to transform a blank cement wall sitting right on the Coney Island Boardwalk. Working on a very tight deadline, our four-person team completed the illustration, and in partnership with Colossal Media—one of the last sign painting companies in New York, over one hundred volunteers hand painted the mural (approximately 15 x 211 feet) in the span of a week.

Fête
Published by STC, this book is by a prominent wedding planner based in NYC. Jung Lee walks the reader through ideas and executions for planning a successful and very polished wedding. This book was a challenge to correctly organize all of the different types of information the author wanted to include while making sure to keep the book elegant with prominent photography.

Exxon Mobile
This was a massive project I worked on at EuroRSCG NY. Exxon was promoting their Clean Air campaign over almost every medium globally. I personally worked on the Wall Street Journal 4 page print ad series, internal posters, and the JFK walkway video billboards, as well as extensions of the typeface for use in other languages where a variety of glyphs weren’t built into the font.

School of Visual Arts
I had the pleasure to work for James Victore on this poster for the School of Visual Arts in New York. We were excited to leave plenty of white space on this piece to inspire graffiti but for some strange reason it was mostly left alone.

Relentless Buckles
Relentless Buckles is a one man company based in Oakland Ca. Scott Sanders would either contract a local artist or sketch the buckle concept, where then I’d take the sketch and create the art work to be sent off to Reno NV for hand made production. We did small runs of buckles and the only retail location we had was Fred Segal in Los Angeles. The buckles seemed to move themselves.
